St. Louis Aquarium • Design within a historic landmark (St. Louis Union Station) dating back to late 1800s challenged the team to make strategic reuse of existing HVAC and electrical distribution systems • Complex piping and a life support system sustains more than 1.3 million gallons of water and 250 species of aquatic life across freshwater, saltwater, riverside and oceanside ecosystems • Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and technology design
